I am a founder and small-business CEO with over 20 years of experience in organizational culture, management, and leadership.

My green industry business was so successful that I returned to graduate school as a mid-career professional to learn how to scale what I was doing in other companies and across other industries.

Now, as a transdisciplinary scholar-practitioner, I hold a Master’s degree in Transformative Leadership and a PhD(c) in Transformative Studies, i.e., sociologically rooted systems change.

The work I offer here with Ritual Leadership arises from the confluence of transformative leadership, partnership studies, systems thinking, transformative learning theory, and contemplative studies.

In short, I study, teach, and coach:

• How we humans continue learning throughout our lifetimes

• How we use all that we learn and experience to expand our capacities for agency and responsibility

• How do we shift out of domination-oriented power dynamics that marginalize and harm, and into partnership systems based on mutual empowerment and collective wellbeing

• How we deepen our abilities to welcome all that life has to offer us with a contemplative, purposeful spirit

I am passionate about reframing leadership as an inherently human quality and advancing the radical notion that everyone is a leader.
